Hot Wheels 2006 Pontiac GTO! On February 5th of 2021, Mattel released their new line of Hot Wheels, “Factory Fresh” series. Included is the long-awaited 2006 Pontiac GTO.
The GTO is part of the Hot Wheels “Factory Fresh” collection which includes 10 vehicles total in the set. The 06′ Pontiac GTO is toy number GTB72 and comes in Metalflake Blue. It features a nice chrome side pipe exhaust as well as sporting wheelie bars.

DESCRIPTION:
The ‘06 Pontiac GTO is a fantasy “what if” Pontiac offered a Super Duty GTO. It’s basically the equivalent of the COPO Camaro- a factory-built drag race car. The latest GTO from Pontiac was produced from 2004 to 2006 and was built in Australia using the Holden Monaro as the foundation and required over 250 parts to be changed to become the legendary GTO.

In the 1960s, Pontiac’s Super Duty program offered race cars right off the assembly line. As a nod to that program, this “what if” GTO comes with an enlarged ram air hood scoop, exhaust header/fender exhaust, drag slicks, parachute, wheelie bar, inside roll bar, and no rear seats.
