Hello, drag racing fans and car enthusiasts! Welcome to Mark Quitter Racing. MQ Racing is owned and operated by Mark Quitter. Mark Quitter Racing participates in quarter-mile automobile drag racing whose premier car is a Phantom Black 2004 Pontiac GTO. Drag racing is done legally on professional race tracks, not the street. Numerous modifications have been done to the car making it both safe and competitive.

Mark Quitter Racing races at an amateur level and is a member of the NMCA, National Muscle Car Association. Mark Quitter Racing’s home track is the infamous Route 66 Raceway in Joliet Illinois.

Mark Quitter Racing is actively seeking sponsors and in return will promote advertising and marketing for our sponsors and for anyone who has helped support this fun and exciting endeavor. Please continue reading below for more information on the sponsorship process.

Mission
Our mission is to win races, as well as promote extensive marketing for all those involved. Marketing campaigns include social networking, website ads, public appearances including racing events, apparel, merchandising, and of course advertisement on the race car itself. Supporting a good cause, winning races, and having fun, all while creating a fun and resourceful atmosphere for all those involved is what Mark Quitter Racing is all about. Drag racing is family-friendly, and fun to watch for people of all ages. 

Merchandising is also another great resource for sponsors and brand awareness. As the saying goes, “Any publicity is good publicity”. Tee shirts, hats, hoodies, jackets, key chains, and more can all become part of the sponsorship and brand awareness process. How You Can Help
Aside from racing, Mark Quitter Racing will be accessible in bringing sponsor advertising to the public eye. During a sanctioned event thousands of spectators will see a sponsor’s advertisement.

Marketing via the race car, social networking, websites, flyers, magazines, merchandising, and so on will return a sponsor’s donation to customers. It’s fun and creative, and being part of racing is something people of all ages can enjoy.

The more wins Mark Quitter Racing earns, the more media coverage we will receive. As our team grows, we will continue to bring race fans the entertainment they deserve. Mark Quitter Racing will conduct itself in a professional manner, making it safe for the team and fun for their fans and the spectators that come to see them race.

Corporate sponsorship helps back the team financially as well as individual donations. Corporate sponsors can share the winning excitement by placing advertising on the vehicle as well as advertising in the pit area where the car is parked while waiting to race. The pit area is open to the public allowing greater advertising exposure during a racing event. Also, Corporate sponsorship can go well beyond the basics of advertising. Creating brand awareness through racing is nothing new and has been around since the creation of Automobile Racing. Mark Quitter Racing sponsors now have the opportunity to donate our supporting affiliates book “What Teenage Drivers Don’t Know – The Unwritten Rules of the Road” to a school or organization of their choice. The book contains valuable tips for both new and veteran drivers to help keep them safe and not become another statistic. Keeping teenagers safe on the road is our main objective, and we want racing fans to know that you care too.

Marketing with Mark Quitter Racing is a great way of creating a new business relationship that will be both fun and exciting. Our commitment to marketing your products and/or business is what puts everyone in the winner’s circle. Our sponsorship will be unlike any other marketing promotion you have used in the past. Merchandising and brand awareness is a huge part of becoming a sponsor for any person or event. My job will absolutely make sure every sponsor who contributes to our agreed amount or donation will get the proper marketing they require. Sponsorship can come in the forms of money, car parts, services, or a combination of these things. In return, I will market and create brand awareness in every way I can per our agreement. Placing your company logo on merchandising items and advertising in new ways you may or may not have thought of. Maybe you always wanted to see your company logo on apparel or on the side of a race car. Well, this is your chance!

What You Will Receive When You Sponsor Mark Quitter Racing?
Each sponsor will receive a predetermined amount of books based on their contribution. Each book will include our sponsor’s business advertisement on the back cover, giving each sponsor even more exposure, and letting the reader know our partners also support “Safe Teen Driving”. Extra book copies are available for an additional fee.

Sponsors are free to distribute the books to whomever they wish or we will donate them on your behalf to local high schools, libraries, or the organization of your choosing.

The cost of the program includes all shipping costs to any destination within the Continental United States. Books will be shipped to the destination of your choice.

Your Corporate $3500 contribution includes:

• 100 books with business advertising on the back cover
• Website ads
• Advertisement on any distributed merchandise we use; hero cards, posters, and flyers
• Advertisement on apparel; t-shirts, hoodies, etc.
• Corporate exposure via social networking
• Your advertisement on the car
• Media exposure for your business

Any sponsorship above $5000 receives all of the above, plus:

• Special guest appearance by Mark Quitter and the race car at your place of business, company outing, etc. (Must be within 70 miles of the Chicago Illinois area)
• A special Sponsor plaque with Mark Quitter Racing photo to proudly display in your place of business.

I work together with sponsors to come up with the best solution that is right for both of us. This may be my website, this may be my car, but it is both of our futures. There is no minimum or maximum amount a sponsor can give. Sponsoring with Mark Quitter Racing is a fun way of advertising your business, company, or product or becoming actively involved with who you are supporting. You decide how much you want to spend and together we will work out the details.

How Do I Become a Mark Quitter Racing Sponsor?
There are 3 ways of becoming a sponsor. You can donate money to Mark Quitter Racing in exchange for advertisement, by donating or paying for anything we can use for our Racing Team. This would include parts and upgrades as well as various items. And lastly services we are interested in.

Below are other examples of items that can be donated to help sponsor Mark Quitter Racing:

• Banner and paper printing (including posters, signs, stickers)

Can I Make a Donation Without Becoming a Sponsor?
NO! (and YES!) Anyone who helps me in any way financially will be considered a sponsor. Illinois High School Districts #203 and #204 have begun using this book in their drivers’ education classes.

The book contains over 250 driving facts and tips!
